Burleigh Pottery
Large lidded butter dish in Asiatic Pheasant that fits 1 Pound of butter! Many use this dish for sweets and for other storage. Nice solid dish.

Introduced in 1827, Asiatic Pheasant was the most popular pattern of the Victorian era. Its romantic, gentle blue pattern proved more popular than its darker Georgian counterpart, Willow. Asiatic Pheasant took pride of place from the kitchen to the dining table. Beautiful Burleigh owning a piece of 19th Century England. ~ Ann Marie

Beautiful ceramics handmade in England. Everything is made in Burleigh's Victorian Pottery, in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Unique English designs since 1851. Burleigh uses the 200 year old decorating process of underglaze transfer printing. Famous for their beautiful Blue and White China patterns!
