MARINATED CAPERBERRIES IN OLIVE OIL 7.05 oz

Beautiful small size caper berries are cured as a regular caper under salt, then rinsed and marinated in extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, a touch of wine vinegar, oregano and bay leaf.

Another popular product of the caper bush, the semi-mature fruit known as caperberries have a long stem, oval shape and thick skin containing hundreds of seeds. The fruit ranges in size from 1.5 cm to 2.5 cm. After being pickled in a vinegar solution the fruit has a crisp tangy flavor, perfect to serve with pate and other cured salumi.
