A delightful twist on the traditional Italian favorite. Serve at the end of the traditional Holiday meals along with bubbly wine, dried fruits, nuts, torrone and other confections. Warm up for 5 minutes in a hot oven before serving. If you are lucky enough to have any left over, slice and prepare French toast with it and top with fig syrup. Also perfect to make bread pudding.
