San Giuliano has belonged to the Marchesi Castello di San Giuliano for over 800 years. Near to Siracusa, on the east coast of Sicily, on a 22 acre estate, San Giuliano boasts some of the most fertile soil in all of Sicily.
Beige to light brown crystallized honey. Very strong, intensely aromatic with herbal and savory flavors. Long, lingering flavors in the mouth of green thyme and mixed dry herbs. Thyme is a member of Lamiaceae, the nectar-producing mint family that includes sage, oregano, and lavender as relatives.

This is a savory honey to use in making glazes, marinades, sauces and reductions. Rub over the skin of a chicken, leg of lamb or pork shoulder prior to roasting for a crispy herbal sweet texture. Serve as an accompaniment to cheese plates.
