    Fig and Goat Cheese Toast


    FIG & GOAT CHEESE TOAST

    Ingredients:

    Cranberry walnut artisan bread loaf

    Goat cheese log

    Pine nuts, toasted

    Earth & Vine Provisions Spiced Fig Pear Fruit Butter


    Cooking Instructions:

    Preheat broiler. Slice bread into ½ inch slices. Slice goat cheeselog into 1/8 inch medallions. 

    Top each slice of bread with two goat cheese medallions. Drizzle a teaspoon or more of Spiced Fig Pear Fruit Butter over cheese and broil for a few minutes, watching closely not to burn. 

    You want the bread lightly toasted around edges and cheese warm and soft but not burned. Remove and sprinkle with toasted pine nuts.
