Top Options for Housewarming Gifts
Posted by Ann Marie on 1/19/2014 to European Gifts
When you are going to a housewarming party, you want to make sure that you find the perfect gift for the host. There are a lot of options, but a few will work for just about anyone making the process of finding a gift very easy. Consider these the next time you want to help someone make their house a home or when you want to invite a new person to the neighborhood.

Fruit Basket

When someone is just moving in, they likely have not had time to stop by the grocery store so some fresh fruit is a good option. This gives them a healthy snack option and also has a very welcoming vibe to it. If you want to add a little something extra, consider a putting a bottle of wine in the basket.

Pottery is timeless and inviting, making it the perfect gift to help someone set up a new home. You can find hand-painted ceramic pottery for a low price and these pieces are sure to make someone smile. Something like a vase, a plate or a special coffee mug are all great choices.

Floral Arrangement

Flowers are always friendly and everyone loves to get them. Go for a simple arrangement with just two or three colors. This will help to ensure that it fits into the person's interior design and will allow the arrangement to brighten things up without being overwhelming. It is generally best to stick with a clear glass vase.

Candles are always a good option because they bring warmth with them and a home should be warm and inviting. They also come in a variety of great scents that fill the home and make it more relaxing. When picking out a candle, the easiest thing to do is choose a scent that correlates with the season, such as pumpkins for fall, pine or chocolate for winter, floral for spring and a citrus scent for summer.
