Weymuss Ware” was first produced in Fife, Scotland in 1882. The beautifully hand painted pottery which was bright and cheerful in color soon became highly collectable. The original factory closed in 1932, but in 1985 Weymuss Ware was revived by the Griselda Hill Pottery. It is made and hand painted in Fife by skilled craftspeople. As with the early Wemyss Ware, the success of the Griselda Hill Pottery is based on the quality of the hand painting and the beauty of the colors.
