Flame (Dizzy) Grey
Every piece of the Flamed series has been manufactured in Gmunden for 300 years using a unique handicraft technique, the "flames". The paint is not painted on, but sprayed onto the ceramic using a fine tube. It is particularly interesting that the color has to be in constant flow in order to be applied to the ceramic in circular movements. In addition to speed and tact, the apprenticeship “FlammerIn” takes two years to master all Flamm designs and over 110 shapes. There is no other company in the world that masters and executes this technology.
