For more than twenty years, Rebecca Wood has operated one of America's largest potteries in the university town of Athens, Georgia, in the red clay hills near Atlanta. The colorful rustic pieces her company produces from that clay grace the dining rooms of some of the country's most demanding hostesses, and Ann Marie has made them available for your table, as well.
Ann Marie's selection of R. Wood ceramics include the popular latte cups, dinner plates and everything bowls as well as tiny leaf-shaped dishes, elegantly simple sushi plates and a roomy antipasto platter. Many items come in a wide variety of rich earthy colors, and all work together to produce a coordinated impression of rustic elegance.
Choose your R. Wood dinnerware in matching colors, or combine two or more for a whimsical table setting, but be aware that these pieces are safe in conventional ovens but not microwaves. Keeping that single caveat in mind will allow you to enjoy the air of gracious back country hospitality created by this distinctive assortment of tableware for many years into the future.
