Shop Burleigh Pottery

Burleigh pottery, made in Stoke-on-Trent in the West Midlands of England, is hand-decorated in a process more than a century old. Designs printed on tissue by copper rollers are applied by hand to fired ceramics, and then the tissue is washed away, leaving the design. The pieces are then fired, glazed and re-fired, resulting in a distinctive hand-made work of the potter's art. Many of the designs come from antique molds, and all are produced with the same care as other potential heirlooms. Burleigh, in fact, advertises its wares as the antiques of tomorrow.

Burleigh products imported by Ann Marie will enhance any kitchen. From the unpretentious elegance of the Natural White line to more elaborate Asiatic Pheasant, country-flavored Calico in blue or red, delightful Burleigh pinks and the distinctively foliate cobalt blue Arden.
